As I have been updating my blog a bit this week, adding a few posts, and trying to determine if I wanted to even keep it going I noticed that this week marks five years of blogging. It was in 2007 that I started this blog and announced that we were beginning the adoption journey. I found myself panning through old posts and looking at all the things we have walked through over the past five years. It truly has been a life changing five years. I've watched God transform my marriage into something so special, seen my toddler begin to grow into a young girl, ventured to another country to bring two beautiful brown skin babes into our family, and experienced growth in my personal walk with the Lord. There have been many lows too. I found old posts where I questioned what God was doing in our family, and wasn't sure I was cut out to parent two children who were not biologically mine. The truth is five years has gone by so fast. There were times it felt as if time would never move and I wept over the stillness I felt in each day but here we are... five years later and I have the posts to tell an amazing story.
Maybe I will keep the blog going.....
